Become soulful with Thomas Moore, February 23

Attend a free lecture by Thomas Moore on Tuesday 23 February, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in Wilton, New Hampshire. or via livestream on the web. The Monadnock Ledger-Transcript shares "Moore to speak at fireside chat" that describes Moore's presentation Becoming a Soulful Person in a Soulful World at High Mowing School.
"The talk will describe elements of self-directed spirituality for which Moore’s 1992 book, Care of the Soul, is acclaimed and will focus on the spiritual needs of adolescents and emerging adults to find meaning, play an active role in the community and nurture “a relation with the mysterious and transcendent.”
“We don’t teach these things much, and yet they have to be learned,” Moore adds. “You have a choice: either you find deep joy in an awakened life or you suffer the depression and acting-out that come from the absence of meaning. This conversation is for parents, teachers and students as together we take the route of joy.”
