Stillpoint: The Center for Christian Spirituality hosts Thomas Moore in Pasadena, California for his one-day retreat Soul Care: Finding a Deeper Spirituality for the Secular World.
This program considers:
* What do we do with the traditional religious expressions?
* Is it good to borrow from the many traditions, or is that superficial?
* If I focus on my own spiritual practice, what about community?
* Can I be deeply spiritual in a way that is thoughtful, socially engaged and life-giving in an increasingly secular world?
Fee: $65

Course Objectives:
* Describe how a rationalist attitude can affect the ego's capacity to metabolize and integrate strong affects.
* Describe how Jung's approach of amplification can support the ego in developing a relationship to the unconscious.
