"Soul has to do with our deep feelings, thoughts and attachments. Spirit has to do with meaning, vision and the wider context of our lives. Both are equally important and play an important role in sickness and healing. Home, family, memory, story and emotion are soul matters that intensify during sickness and need attention for healing. A larger sense of the meaning of illness and spiritual practice bring the spirit into play. Both of these sensibilities can be seen in images of the Blue Buddha and in the healing style of Jesus. This lecture prepares both patients and healthcare providers with a vision for healing people and not just bodies."Lecture Fee:
